Two of these Assistant Architects are required to augment the Staff in the Office of the Consulting Architect to the Government of Bombay, and two to assist the Executive Engineers of the Poona and Karachi Building Districts respectively.
The proposed terms and conditions of the appointments are
as follows:-
1. Agreement. for 5 years but to be determinable at any time within that period on 6 months' notice, and extensible beyond that term by mutual consent.
2. Salary at the following rates, according to age on

3. Travelling Allowances. The two Assistant Architects attached to the office of the Consulting Architect will, if required to travel in the interests of the public service, entitled to travelling allowance at the rates admissible to an Assistant Executive Engineer in the Indian Service of Engineers, as specified in the Civil Service Regulations. The Assistant Architect appointed to the Poona District will be eligible for a fixed travelling allowance of Rs.150 per mensen, and the Assistent Architect at Karachi to a conveyance allowance of Rs.100 per mensem, subject to their each maintaining e motor car for the performance of their official duties.
